Final Remarks
Dear President of Atatürk University and Eurasian Silk Road Universities Distinguished Rectors, honorable participants, ladies and gentlemen,
As the chair of organizing committee, first of all I would like to thank our Rector Professor KOÇAK for his ground- breaking support and motivation. I also would like to thank all the members of the committee and students for their tremendous effort and responsibility during all the conventions and conferences of ESRUC which had a great attribution in literature with your very valuable contributions.
The ESRUC activities up to now can be classified as follows:
1- Annual ESRUC conventions such as this one involving institutional and administrative subjects.
2- Winter summits invoking and discussing global and regional issues.
3- Silk Road Civilizations Forums such as East Anatolia and South Caucasus Cultures just finalized before this meeting.
And, the fourth and probably the most important one will be the initiation of Collaborative Projects under the name of Silk Road Education and Science Caravan, which President KOÇAK might as well mention in his closing address.
This idea was fixed as a decision in yesterday’s executive committee meeting, and it will hopefully be realized by creating a pool for the subjects and titles of the projects in the Website of ESRUC, later to be found possible teams and funds to perform them. Possible joint programs of TUBITAK or similar programs of other countries might be available for instance.
Ladies and gentlemen, as the idea of ESRUC has become one of the most successful projects of Atatürk University besides several others, I recon the idea of Silk Road Education and Science Caravan will be the most successful project of ESRUC.
Let me just return to the most successful projects in your administration of this convention, they will soon come out in the 4th proceedings book of ESRUC with over 40 presentations, consisting of shared experiences of wide variety of your contributions. I would have foreseen that these proceedings will become a reference book for the administrative problems.
Dear members of ESRUC community,
Although the consortium has been founded recently, it has had a worldwide reputation, so that the scientific committee of International Project Olympics in Trabzon, named after the Great Architect Sinan, is going to be chaired by ESRUC presidency, Prof. KOÇAK. Finally I would like to emphasize the fact that the ESRUC consortium will be more productive with your continuous efforts, contributions and interests.
